Lynn Robinson Brewer

Lynn Robinson Brewer, 86, of Dallas, passed away peacefully at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on August 12, 2024 with her loving family by her side. 

 She was born in Gaston County on June 23, 1938 to the late Lynn and Doris Robinson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ben Brewer. 

 Lynn was the first female sheriffs deputy for Gaston County. She was dedicated to serving her community and loved her job at the sheriffs department. Later in life she found a passion for helping people find the right insurance and became a very successful life insurance agent. 

 She is survived by her step-children, William Brewer, Ricky Brewer (Rhonda), Roger Brewer (Roberta), Dottie Martin, and Barbara Cobb; granddaughter, Heather Propst and Katie Mitchem.

Services will be private. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Gaston County.
