Maiden – Louise Robinson Finger, 88, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Catawba County on January 12, 1931 to the late Paul and Susan Huffman Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene "Gene" Finger.
Louise was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church of Newton. She was a lifelong resident of Catawba County where she grew up and later raised her family. Louise worked in Dot's Dress Shop for many years. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her son, Gary Finger and wife Becky; grandchildren, Gary Robinson Finger and Katherine Abigail Finger; nieces and nephews, Glenda Mathis, Phyllis Whitener, Steve Deitz, and Terry Robinson; sister, Geraldine Bumgarner and her best friend, Betty Austin; and several great nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 8th at Saint Paul's Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 10, Newton, North Carolina with Reverend Rick Crotts and Dr. Rob Helton officiating.
