Easley – Lisa Marie Fagala, 50, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital following a sudden illness.
Lisa was born in Rocky Mount, NC daughter of the late George Otis Fagala, Jr. and the late Lillie Mae Parker Fagala. She was retired from the Pickens and Greenville County School Systems where she taught Physical Education and later taught English as a second language. Lisa was a graduate of Belmont Abby College and later received her Masters at Winthrop University. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Easley where she served as a choir member, lector, and Eucharistic minister.
Survivors include her spouse, Pamela G. Fowler of the home; brothers, John M. Fagala (Jill) of Monroe, NC, Richard P. Fagala of Wilmington, NC, and Mark A. Fagala of Gastonia, NC, her "Uncle Ray" Stone, also nieces and nephews; Caroline, Kelli, Micah, Cameron, Lillie Grace, and Ethan, her special cousin, Steve Campbell, and her aunt, Sister Mary Angela Parker, IHM of Scranton, PA.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Easley with The Reverend Lee Dudley officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in the church columbarium.
The family will greet friends following the service in the church parish hall.
