Charlotte – Linda Patricia York, 75 passed away peacefully on August 26, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Griffin, GA on August 10, 1943 to the late Carl Melvin Cardell and Lera Nobles Cardell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Walter Earl York, sons, Anthony Dewayne Loggins, Richard Gregory Loggins and Wayne Leon Madewell.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed! Linda was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies auxiliary. Left to cherish her memories includes her family, Cynthia Loggins, Kevin Day, Tina Loggins, George Madewell, Tina Madewell and Timothy Madewell; sister, Peggy McKinney;
a ton of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 30th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
