Linda Lane

Linda Diane Lane, 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas with her loving family by her side. Linda was born in Gastonia on April 4, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Vernon Lane and Geraldine Plyler Williams.

Linda was a graduate of Hunter Huss High School and was very active with Hunter Huss Alumi events. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia. Linda was a very loving lady that cared more about others rather than herself. Linda loved her two sons more than anything in the world and also her "canine family", Lucy, Tiny, Lillie, Mr. Weiners, Pepper, Gunner, Sarge, Daphne.

Linda loved to attend the Beach Shag events at Myrtle Beach and attend all of the concerts in Belmont, Mt. Holly and Gastonia. She was just a wonderful daughter, mother and friend to everyone. She was very involved in the Viet Nam Veterans organizations and events. She was very involved in the Election Polls.

Linda is survived by her loving sons, Matthew Jernigan and fiancé , Christy Cato, Michael Jernigan; her long time companion, Mike Foxx; her loving uncle, whom was like a 2nd father, Bryson Welch and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Catherine Lane Welch; uncles, Dean Lane, James Lane, Herman Lane, S.W. Lane.
