Gastonia – Linda Kay Campbell Cape, 60 passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Gaston County on August 28, 1958 to the late Dewey and Vinner "Vie" Randall Campbell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Channing Eugene Nicholson, sister Brenda Faye Henson and a brother Randy Keith Campbell.

Kay worked at Sam's Club for over 16 years. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed!

Left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Angela Hope Nicholson;
grandchildren, Dylan and Riley Nicholson, Kaleigh and Nichole Bunting;
brother, Mike Campbell (Gina); Sisters, Pat Baker (Delane), Diane Hannah (David);
nieces and nephews, Shannon and Justin Campbell, Dalton Campbell, Derek Baker,
Chasity Massey, Shane and Scott Hannah.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 11th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Kent Meeler officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Shannon Campbell, Justin Campbell, Shane Hannah, Scott Hannah, Tyler Campbell and Tyler Cash.
