Dallas –Linda Costner Day, 70, entered into her Heavenly Home on September 6, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center
She was born in Gaston County, NC on March 4, 1945
She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Costner
Linda was a beloved wife and she loved spending time with her family especially with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Hardin Community Church where she taught Sunday school for over 25 years which she enjoyed so much! Linda loved to read and was always by her husband's side watching the Atlanta Braves and ACC Basketball. She worked at Parkdale Mills and later at Cloninger Trucking.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Larry Day, Jr.; mother, Nora Boggs Costner; sister and brothers, Sister, Dean Tate (Ronald); Ray Costner (Sara), David Costner( Lois) and Dennis Costner; several nieces and nephews
The family will be receive friends 1 hr prior to the service, with A Celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 9th at Hardin Community Baptist Church with Dr. Clay Ledford and Reverend Fain Farmer officiating
Interment will follow at Hardin Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Clyde Costner, Andy Costner, Randy Costner, Jeff Huggler, Ronnie Tate and Ethan Smith
Honorary Pallbearers will be Stan Tyson, Jason, Justin and Michael Costner
