Dallas – Leroy Brooks, 81, passed away on February 28, 2019 at Peak Resources-Gastonia.
He was born in Gaston County on March 7, 1937 to the late James and Louise Grant Brooks.
Leroy enjoyed watching television and especially "old action movies". He loved his granddaughter and spending time with his great grandbabies.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his son, William Glenn "Bill" Brooks and wife Regina; granddaughter, Kala Brooks Sisk and husband Caleb; great grandchildren, Cora and Cori Sisk.
Visitation for family and friends will be 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 4th at Plainview Baptist Church with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Hovis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Plainview Baptist Church, 3640 Dallas High Shoals Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
