Laura Meek Ramsey

Gastonia Laura Meek Ramsey, 76 passed away peacefully June 5, 2013 at CMC-Pineville.
She was a native of Gaston County, born December 22, 1936 to the late William R. and Robbie Lee Stewart Meek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Lizzie Dameron Meek, her husband William G Ramsey, and two brothers James R. Meek and Billy S. Meek.
Mrs. Ramsey graduated from Gastonia High School. She retired from Threads & American Efird's after 33 years. She loved to garden, work in her flowers and cross-stitching.
Survivors include her daughters Debbie Tiller and son-in-law Joey Tiller of Sharon, SC; Doris Williams of Gastonia, and Elizabeth Ramsey of Bessemer City;
Six Grandchildren and Seven Great grandchildren
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm, Friday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Glover officiating
Interment will follow at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery
