Larry Nelson Lambert

Gastonia – Larry Nelson Lambert, Sr. 81 of Gastonia passed away peacefully March 31, 2013 at his residence.
He was a native of Gaston County, born May 26, 1931 to the late
Arthur Lee and Margie Angel Lambert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Brandon Alger.

Larry was a member of Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church. He had retired from Ti-Caro Threads, Inc with over 30 years of service.
Larry enjoyed music, playing the keyboard and guitar. He loved to fish and play golf.

Survivors include his wife of over 61 years, Gladys Styers Lambert;
his children, Barbara Mullinax and husband Wayne of Gastonia;
Pat Lensgraf and husband Eric James of Gastonia;
Diane Spencer and husband Billy of Clover, SC; Beth Jenkins and Jim, Nelson Lambert and wife Amy all of Gastonia, NC;
Grandchildren Scott Alger and wife Lindsay, Gina Montoya and husband Isaac, Brian Mullinax and wife Yahaira, Josh Mullinax, Keli and Ashley Spencer, Karen and, Sharon Jenkins, Jordan James and husband Jesse, David and Jacob Lambert; Six Great Grandchildren; Sister, Reita L. Spence

Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00pm Tuesday, April 2 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Wednesday, April 3 at Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Eric Reece officiating.
Interment will be Hollywood Cemetery
Pallbearers will be his grandsons
