Larry Douglas Hibberts

Gastonia - Larry Douglas Hibberts, 69 of Plum Branch, SC, formerly of Gastonia passed away peacefully April 12, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House.
He was a native of Gaston County, born September 8, 1944 to the late
James Elbert Hibberts and Mildred Cole Glover.
Larry was a member of the Parksville Baptist Church. He was the owner of Hibberts Painting Contractors, and he loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Douglas Hibberts, Jr and a daughter Lisa Lynn Messer; and a brother Clifford

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Eraine "Midge" Costner Hibberts;
his children, Ben Hibberts and wife Megan,
Michael Hibberts and wife Amanda,
Mark Messer,
James Messer and wife Jill,
Paul Messer and wife Terri,
Samantha Hibberts
and Bradley Messer;
Brothers, Donald Hibberts and Jerry Bradley;
Sisters, Audrey Culbertson, Kay McCall and Pam Gunter;
Eleven Grandchildren

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00pm Saturday, April 13 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Funeral services will be 2:00 Sunday, April 14 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Revs. Chris Norris and Craig McDaniels officiating.
Interment will be at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
