Larry E. Bolding

Kings Mountain- Larry Edward Bolding, 85 of 105 Judy Court, Kings Mountain went to be with his Heavenly Father April 3, 2012 at his residence.
He was a native of Pickens County, SC, born January 14, 1927 to the late William Taylor and Nevada Elizabeth Jones Bolding. Larry had retired from Rex Mill #2, Ranlo and had also worked at the Myrtle Mill.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a Son Stephen David Bolding, a Grandson Kenneth Ray Burrell and a Great Grandchildren Mylinda and Cody,
also 6 Brothers and a Sister.
He was a member of Crowders Mt. Baptist Church, where he was Senior Deacon. Larry could play the piano by ear and did so many years for a number different gospel groups, which included the Friendly Five Group and several different churches. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather with over 103 family members.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Essie Elizabeth Pridemore Bolding; his Children, Paul Edward Bolding and Wife Linda of Cartersville, GA, Jerry Wayne Bolding and Wife Catherine of Gastonia, Rebecca Anne Hawkins and husband Ronnie of Dallas, Janet Elaine Burrell and Husband Jim of Clover, SC, Alice Faye Bolding of Gastonia, Dennis Ray Bolding of Gastonia, Karen Elizabeth King and Husband Bobby of Enoree, SC;
twenty nine Grandchildren, fifty nine Great Grandchildren, five Great Great Grandchildren and two on the way.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Friday, April 6, 2012 at
the First Assemby of God Church, 777 South Myrtle School Road, Gastonia, NC with Reverend Larry Laws officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30pm Thursday, April 5 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park with the Releasing of the Doves
