Kimberly "Kim" Ferguson Alley, 58, entered into Heaven on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Meadowwood Nursing Center, Gastonia with her loving family by her side. Kim was born in Gaston County on August 6, 1959 and is the daughter of Larry Reid Ferguson and the late Charlotte Williams Ferguson.

Kim was a graduate of North Gaston High School, former employee of Food Lion and member of Dallas Baptist Church.

She loved swimming, reading, doing puzzle books and going to the beach.

Kim leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 21 years, Joseph Knox Alley; her father, Larry Reid Ferguson of Dallas; two daughters, Danielle Buchanan and husband Aaron of Lowell, Chasity Barrett and fiancé, Shannon Wilson of Dallas; one sister, Sherrie Crooks and husband Gene of Tupelo, Mississippi; three loving grandchildren, Kayla Barrett, Hayden Buchanan, Mia Buchanan.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Barron Lee officiating.

Inurnment will be private for the family.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Williams Ferguson; brother, Gregory Reid Ferguson.
