Kevin Michael Wilson, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Mecklenburg County and is the son of Mark Edward Wilson and Crystal Abernathy Wilson.

Kevin attended Ashbrook High School and North Gaston High School.

Kevin is survived by his father, Mark Edward Wilson and wife Linda, mother, Crystal Abernathy Wilson; son, Dylan Kolton Wilson; daughter, Kensley Marie Perry; sister, Stephanie Maddox and husband Chris; nephew, Justin Maddox; grandmother, Carlene Roberts.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Weathers officiating.

Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
