Gastonia- Kevin Patrick 'Pat' Dean, 48, of Gastonia passed away January 19, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Gaston County, born September 5, 1961 son of William Ray Dean and the late Esther Marie Chastain Dean.
Pat worked at Gastonia Police Dept in the early 80's and worked as a welder.
Survivors include his wife of 18 yrs., Crystal Barrett Dean
Children: Jamie Dean and Jessica Dean Johnson; Grandchild: Julian Johnson
Father: William Ray Dean
Brother: Jeff Dean and wife Julie; Sister: Misty Wright and husband John
A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jody Freeman officiating
Family will receive friends 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service
Interment will be private
