Kenneth Max Harvell

Kenneth Max Harvell, 79, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 24, 2020 with his loving family by his side. Kenny was born in Gaston County on January 23, 1941 and is the son of the late Earl and Bertha Mae Lane Harvell.
Kenny retired from Duke Power after 13 years of service.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memories are his two loving sons, Van Harvell, Dennis Harvell; three brothers, Bob Harvell and wife Shelby, Danny Harvell and wife Martha, Boyce Harvell and wife Mary Ann; one sister, Delphia Costner; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. (Masks and social distancing will be required)
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 48 years, Sarah Louise McCarter Harvell; brother, Talmadge Harvell; sister, Doris Ann Harvell.
