1951-2015
Dallas- Kendell Cribb, age 64, passed from this life to eternal life on December 3, 2015. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Louise and Jesse Cribb, and brother, James.
Those remaining to treasure his memories include son, Jonathan Cribb and wife Carrie; daughter, Dana Lynch and husband Jason; daughter, Sondra Cribb; grandsons, Justin Greene, Kyle Greene, Noah McNeilly, Samuel McNeilly, and Seth Lynch; granddaughter Abigail Lynch; great-granddaughter Kylie Grace McNeilly; brothers, Willard, Roger, Kenneth, Joseph, Terry, and Ricky; sisters, Elwanda, Mayola, Martha, Rachel, and Belinda.
Kendell was a general contractor who strove to provide first-class service and workmanship. He grew up farming and "mechanicing". He was a Mopar man! He enjoyed fishing, Bible study and music, especially bluegrass and gospel. He played guitar and loved "pickin and grinnin" with family and friends. He will be remembered for his remarkable faith, strength, determination, and resilience.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 pm on December 5, 2015 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Curtis and Reverend Willard Whitted officiating.
The family will receive friends 6:00 until 7:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will be at Clay Hill Cemetery in Tabor City, NC on December 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Justin, Noah, Samuel, and Seth.
