Belmont – Keitha Jane Guffie Mason, 52 passed away peacefully on January 11, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House with her loving husband and son by her side.
She was born in Gaston County on June 29, 1965 to the late David Conan Guffie and Frances Faile Sprinkles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Guffie, mother-in-law Barbara Mason and brother-in-law Scotty Mason.
Keitha was MOST PROUD of her family!! She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed! Keitha loved the mountains and helping people. She was a very caring person, taking care of her mother and mother-in-law Barbara Mason until they passed. She just loved taking care of people and her loved ones!
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving husband of 34 years, Brian Mason, love of her life; her son Joshua Brian Keith Mason; brothers, Tommy Armstrong, David and Conan Guffie, sisters, Beth Wilkinson (Randall), Carolyn Brown(Joel), Diane Etters (David) and Donna Thornburg; step-mother Gail Guffie; and other family members, Rick Mason (Tammy), Kim (Barry) Stamey, and Chuck Mason; and her beloved father in law, Ernest Mason.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Faile officiating.
