Survivors include his wife, Audrey Allen Smith;
Daughters: Loretta Berry, Mary Proffitt and Teddi Pauley
Step-son: Scott Clark
Brothers: Ben and Bill Smith; Sister: Mertie Winne; Niece: Cecelia Smith
Grandchildren: Faith, David, April and Deborah Jackson, Krista and Michaela Proffitt
