1947-2018

Gastonia - Keith Wayne Brimbury, 71, entered into Heaven on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side. Keith was born in Hammond, Indiana on January 21, 1947 and was the son of the late Richard and Pauleete Kennedy Brimbury.

Keith was owner of Carolina Cars, a collector of vintage automobiles and loved to restore vintage automobiles.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Viet Nam era.

All family and friends attending the Celebration of Life Service is encouraged to bring their vintage automobiles to honor Keith's love for these automobiles.

Keith is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janice Tericia Huntley Brimbury; one son, John Wayne Brimbury and wife Tami of Gastonia and a friend like a son, Barry Stamey and fiancé, Kim Mason of Gastonia; one daughter, Cherisa Browning and husband James of Gastonia; one brother, John Charles Brimbury of Gastonia; four grandchildren, Zachary Reid, Brian Clodfelter, Lucas Browning, Lauren Ritchie.

The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Tony Cape officiating. Military Honors will be by the North Carolina National Guard and Gaston Honor Guard.

Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
