Gastonia – Brenda Kay Richardson Fowler, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Mecklenburg County on July 13, 1949 to the late James Claude and Margaret Catherine Dula Richardson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, William Foster Fowler and her brother, Joe Richardson.
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving son, Jason Fowler (Christina); her loving daughter, Teresa Pastula; grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Kayla, Mikal, Ally, Wesley, Jason, Kandice, Michael and Kayla; great grandchild, Iasiia Clark
brothers, Pastor Randy Richardson (Joyce) and Bob Richardson (Fos); sister, Fay Richardson;
dear special friend, Danny Horne.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29th prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 p.m., at God Can, 100 East Georgia Avenue, Bessemer City, NC with the releasing of the doves.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pastula, Dylan Fowler, Bruce Fowler, Brian Duff, Wesley Huffstickler and Jason Brown. Honorary Pallbearers, Mikal Nichols and Bob Richardson.
Interment will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30th at Gaston Memorial Park.
