She was born in Asheville, NC, on February 12, 1943 to the late Howard Turner and Jennie Payne Crenshaw.
Survivors include her husband Richard Currier, daughter, Jennie Frances Harper and husband Jeffrey of Gastonia; step-daughter, Kimberley Balan and husband Marco of Wantagh, New York; brother, Tommy Turner and wife Marie of Gastonia; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 12th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC
