Charlotte- Karen Ann Stroud, 46, passed away August 25, 2009 at The Brian Center.
She was a native of Charlotte, daughter of the late Ned Nathaniel and Betty Jean Francis Cooper. She was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, and worked at Bonded Logistics.
Survivors include her daughters Ryan Danielle Stroud, Katherine Bailee Stroud,
brothers, Marcus and Ned Cooper,
sisters, Cynthia Holcombe, Sharon Cooper, Pamela Leikala, Linda Branco,
father of her children, Nathan Stroud,
nephew, Thomas Manion III,
niece Elina Branco
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 29 in the Chapel at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Hunter officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
