Kara Brooke Kinard, 24, passed away Dec. 28, 2012. Kara was a native of Gastonia and graduated from North Gaston High School before attending UNC Charlotte.
She is survived by her mother Kathy Kinard; sisters Paige Harris (Branson) and Amber Brendle (Andrew); and many other relatives.
Kara was born in Charlotte on July 3, 1988 and was a loving daughter, sister and friend to many. Kara was constantly looking forward to exploring what life had to offer. She regularly immersed her heart and soul in enjoying the comforts of long books, plays, movies, and musicals.
The family will receive friends and family from 2:00-3:00 on Monday the 31st, with a service to follow at 3:00pm , at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kara's name to Catherine's House Inc.
