Gastonia - Kader Roy Ramsey III, 54, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Roy was born in Rockingham, North Carolina on September 19, 1966 and is the son of Kader Roy Ramsey, Jr. and Margaret Patterson Ramsey.
Roy attended Hargrave Military Academy, graduated from Hunter Huss High School, graduate of Gaston College and Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor Science Degree. He was a former employee of Parkdale Mills in the IT Department. Roy is a member of First Baptist Church, Gastonia.
Roy leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Kader Roy and Margaret Ramsey, Jr., fiancé, Jamie Stroupe Slater; Jamie's parents, Rick and Joyce Southard; two sisters, Maria Ramsey Green, Mary Margaret Ramsey Gudz and husband Richard; nieces and nephews, Ethan Green, Olivia Green, Anna Gudz, Amanda Gudz, Nathan Gudz, Jonathan Gudz.
