1948-2015
Gastonia – June Elizabeth Ledford Stanford, passed away on July 24, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Haywood County, NC on September 24, 1948 to the late Cowans Blantford and Edna Irene Mathis Ledford.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Scott Stanford and brother Michael Wayne Ledford.
June was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed!
Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Randy Stanford, daughter, Brandy Stanford, brother-in-law, Reggie Stanford and Brenda; sisters, Kathy L. Williams and husband John; Joyce Ward and husband Richard; numerous nieces and nephews
Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday July 29th at 11:00 am at Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, 271 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, NC 28052 with Reverend James Chambers officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
