Gastonia – Judy Mauney Seigler, 69 passed away suddenly on January 17, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in York County on November 24, 1949 to the late Marion Wesley Mauney and Agnes King Mauney. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a granddaughter Elizabeth Weathers, sisters, Doris McAllister, Brenda Sheppard and Gayle Mauney.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed!
She enjoyed watching cooking shows on the television and her flowers. Judy always had to have a glass of sweet tea every where she went. Some of her favorite things were watching the birds on the bird feeder, butterflies and the wind chimes.

Left to cherish her memories includes her daughters, Melissa Seigler Weathers (Jeff), Angela Seigler Bradshaw (Tony), and Shannon Seigler (Donnie); grandchildren, Summer Seigler Siliakus (Phillip), Chase Beaver, Hunter Fowler, Jeffrey and Abigail Weathers; her siblings, Bobby Mauney (Kathy), Billy Mauney (Debbie), Debbie Trull (Stacy), Doug Mauney (Denlena); special granddaughter, Micah McAllister.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Monday prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21st at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin McClure officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen A Quiet Place
