Gastonia – Judy Dianne Costner Clark, 73, passed away on September 8, 2018 at her residence.
Judy was born in Gaston County on July 3, 1945 to the late Jessie Taft Costner and Jessie Costner.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Gene Clark, and a sister Betty McCurry.
Judy enjoyed serving God and going to church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Church of God.
Left to cherish her memories include her sons David Clark (Kimberly) of Gastonia, Brian Clark (Nicole) of Kings Mt.; grandchildren Charity, Kendall and Chase Clark, Trevor Bell; sisters, Billie Whiten, Sue (Gary) Mullinax, Myrtle (Tony) England; brother in law, Larry Clark (Joyce).
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
A Celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chuck Whiten and Reverend Ron Pendleton officiating.
Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
