Gastonia – Juanita Boone Walker, 85 passed away peacefully December 17, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Rutherfordton, to the late Dillard and Lela Dimsdale Boone..
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Rodney Wiggins, brother and sisters, L.D., Edith, Nellie, Shirley, Vivian and Lillian.
Juanita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook; she was the BEST cook ever! Juanita retired from Westvaco with over 40 years of service.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 47 years, Ray Walker, son, Victor Wiggins (Abegail); daughter Kim Tanner (Reggie); grandchildren Wyatt Tanner, Sherry Jenkins, Cindy Birskovich and Jody Wiggins. Six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter
Brothers Robert and Johnny, sisters Inez, Eartha, Carolyn and Agnes
A Celebration of life Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 pm prior to the service
Interment will be at a later date at Westview Gardens
