1931-2018
Lowell – Joyce McDaniel Savage, 86 went to her heavenly home on January 10, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lake City, South Carolina on October 15, 1931 to the late George Bing and Nellie Allen McDaniel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, Furman M. Cook, son Tim Cook, brother, Burgess McDaniel and a stepson, Roger Savage.
She was a member at West Cramerton Baptist Church for over 48 years.
Joyce retired from Belk in 1991. She enjoyed life with her husband, her family, her church family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed!
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving husband of 30 years, Walter Savage; her children, Randy (Dianne) Cook and Denise Christopher; stepchildren, Jeff (Linda)Savage, Keith (Becky) Savage, Brenda (Tommy) Moore, Edith Savage; her grandchildren, Kelly Thompson, Macey Christopher, Jacob Savage and Emily Vislay; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thompson, Drew Thompson and Jaxon Brooks; I great great grandson Easton Green
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m. at West Cramerton Baptist Church, 5006 Wilkinson Blvd, Cramerton with Reverend Mike Ivey and Reverend David MacEachren officiating.
Interment will be at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 5323 Union Road with the releasing of the doves.
The family would like to send a heartfelt special thanks to her sister in law, Moody Lane
and Paula Robb of Gaston Hospice.
