Gastonia – Joyce Gibson Knowles, 82, entered into her Heavenly Home on February 7, 2017 with her family by her side at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born in Gaston County to the late Lloyd and Jeanette Hill Gibson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Bill Westmoreland.
Joyce gave unconditional love to her husband, son and grandchildren and everyone she came in contact with loved her! She was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories includes her husband, David Knowles; son, David Knowles and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Madison Knowles, Dylan Dixon and wife Sabryna;
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9th at Love Memorial Baptist Church.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Criswell officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to all of her special friends and staff of Robin Johnson House for their care and compassionate care for Joyce.
