Rock Hill, SC- Joseph Thomas Collins, 82 passed away peacefully on June 8, 2015 at the Hospice and Community Care.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 24, 1932 to the late Bernard Joseph Collins and Dorothy Mary Unold Collins.
He was a retired fire inspector and volunteered with the Minelo Fire Department in New York. Joseph served with the U.S. Navy on ships SS Shangri-LA and SS Yorktown, Cooperstown, NY

He also served as chairman with the Chamber of Commerce Cooperstown, New York
Joseph was owner and operator of Americana Camp ground, Cooperstown, New York

Survivors include his wife Marie J. Walsh Collins; his children Susan, Patricia and Kathleen;
five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; step children Susan A, Lisa and David

Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 13th at Light of Hope Church, 413 N. Polk Street, Pineville, NC with the releasing of the doves

Visitation for family and friends will be following the service

Interment will be at a later date
