Gastonia - Joseph Gasper Carollo, 85, passed away at his home on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the son of the late Felice and Francesca Saccheri Carollo.
Mr. Carollo was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.
Mr. Carollo is survived by two daughters, Mary Purvis and husband Dave of Gastonia, Anjela Pandolfo of New York; two sons, Joseph Carollo, Salvatore Carollo and wife Kathy of Texas.
Services will be held at a later date in New York.
