Gastonia Jonathan Scott Rimmer, 34 of Gastonia passed away peacefully January 8, 2014 at his twin brother's house.
He was a native of Gaston County, born June 3, 1979
He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Hayes Rimmer; his grandfather, Gaither Paul Hayes, and a uncle David Hayes
He was a 1997 graduate of Ashbrook High School and had worked at Boston Market for over 10 years and also UPS for over 8 years. Jonathan enjoyed fishing and playing golf, and most of all he loved the Chicago Bears.

Survivors include his children, Alyssa, Matthew, Gavin and Gabby Rimmer; his father Tommy Rimmer; his twin brother Jeremy Rimmer and wife Gina, and brother Chris Rimmer; sisters Brandy Gibby and Kimberly Starrett and husband Charlie; his grandparents, Ann and Steve Biggerstaff; aunt, Diane H Stiles, uncle Dennis Paul Hayes, Sr and wife Robbie;
Mother of Alyssa, Sherry Fredell and mother of Matthew, Gavin and Gabby, Kelly Harrell;
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the 11:00 Saturday, Celebration of Life Service at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Morrison and Rev. Chad Collins officiating.
Burial will be private at a later date
