Dallas – Jon Alan Clemmer, 70 passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017 at Robin Johnson House with his family by his side.
Jon was born in Arkansas to the late Doyle Deaton Clemmer, Sr. and Clairetta Harris Clemmer. He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church where he served in the choir. Jon loved music, he enjoyed playing his guitar.
Left to cherish his memories include his brother, Doyle D. Clemmer, Jr and wife Darlene, sister Sandra C. Austin and husband Wayne; nieces and nephews, Preston Clemmer, Kevin, Sharon and Kathy; special aunt and uncle Wayne Ann Penley and husband Bud; and his beloved fur baby Turbo
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 725 Gastonia Technology Parkway, Dallas, NC with a Celebration of Life Service following at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Peter Feige officiating.
Interment will follow at Holy Communion Lutheran Church cemetery, Dallas with military honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of Robin Johnson House for their kind and compassionate care provided to Jon and their family.
