Gastonia- Johnny Robert Greene, Jr. 44 of 1020 South Marietta Street passed away suddenly October 17, 2013 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Gaston County, born April 11, 1969 to Sunny Hall 'Susie" Greene and the late Johnny Robert Greene, Sr.
Johnny worked at Freightliner for over 24 years.
He was survived by his children, Andrew Jacob Greene and Johnny Robert
"JR" Greene, III; his mother Sunny Hall Greene; his wife Mary Drawdy;
an aunt, Sara Flowers and a cousin Pamela Flowers.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Joan Martin officiating.
Graveside service will be 2:30pm, Monday at Gaston Memorial Park, Dogwood section with the Releasing of the Doves
Pallbearers: Tom Hauer, Brett Conrad, Denny Dockery, Randy Kale, Frank Maddy, Robert Skidmore, Jeff Busler and Kevin Busler.
