Lake Wylie- John F. Werfal, 76, passed away peacefully September 11, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on May 10, 1938 to the late John L and Lillian Marshall Werfal.
He enjoyed fishing and camping in Wisconsin and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Jayne Miller Werfal; sons, John Werfal and wife Mary; Jeffrey M. Werfal and wife Cassie and Jeremy F. Werfal and wife Qi; daughter, Jodi M. Fort and husband Greg; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters, Jacqueline Bridgman and Judith Stacey.
Memorial Service will be Monday, September 15th at 11:00 am at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC with Deacon Jack Weisenhorn officiating
