He was born in Gaston County on August 8, 1975 to Rita Lunsford and the late John Henry Smith, Jr.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandfather John Henry Smith, Sr.
John was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed being with his family and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lovelace Smith of 15 years; Daughters, Tiffany, Courtney and Karmyn Smith; granddaughter, Jayda Deputy; mother, Rita Lunsford; sisters, Lisa Beach and Amber Smith;
special aunt and uncle Barbara and BJ Beach;
mother-in-law, Renee Arnette and father-in-law, Dennis Lovelace
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Friday, July 3rd at 2:30 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Faulkenbury officiating.
Following the service friends are welcome to visit the family at 105 Judy Court, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
Interment will be private
