He was born in Buffalo, New York on April 11, 1939 to the late Paul and Viola Slachciak. John retired from General Motors Corp.
Left to cherish his memories includes his loving wife Donna Marie Oesterle Slachciak; his children, John David Slachciak, Jr., and wife Donna;
Tina Marie Craft and Katherine Louise Buckner; Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1st at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 503 North Main Street, Belmont with Father Frank Cancro officiating. Family will greet friends following the Mass of Christian Burial.
