Hope Mills, NC – John Wesley Martin – 50, formerly of Gastonia passed away on March 5, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Gaston County to the late Franklin Delano and Mildred Louise Pruitt Martin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin Delano Martin, Jr. and David Ray Martin.
He is survived by his son, Sean Martin and wife Kasi of Hope Mills; daughter, Robin Martin Tinsley and husband Kenny of Gastonia; 5 grandchildren;
brother, Robert Martin of Gastonia; sisters, Roxie Martin of Lowell, Betty Meeks and Margie Grindstaff of Bessemer City, Freida Medlin of Lowell and Patricia Inman of Kings Mountain;
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Sunday, March 12th in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Sawyer officiating.
Interment will be private.
