Gastonia-John Edward Benoit, 69, of 605 Colorado Ct., Gastonia died November 25, 2009 at his residence. He was a native of Enosburg Falls, VT., son of Veronica King Benoit and the late Leon George Benoit
He was a member of Riverwood Worship Center, a volunteer fireman with Level Cross Fire Department and a veteran of the 82nd Airborne

John Timothy and wife Christi Benoit of Gastonia, NC
Step-children: Timothy Ronnie Gales of Greensboro, NC, Blake Leighanne Freeman and husband Wayne of Holden Beach, NC
Grandchildren: Emerson Grace Benoit, Travis John Benoit, Ashley Benoit, Stephanie Benoit, Ashley Moore and husband Justin, Emily Turner and husband Ben, Ashley Church
Brother: George and wife Pat Benoit of Falmouth, Mass and their children: Travis, Spencer and Mary Beth
Sister: Carolee Muniz and daughter, Katie of Myrtle Beach, SC

Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Riverwood Worship Center with Rev. Tim Elliott officiating
