Jimmie Blue Sowers Graeber, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Peak Resources of Gastonia, North Carolina. Jimmie Blue was born in Lexington, North Carolina on November 30, 1929 and is the daughter of the late James C. and Helen Craver Sowers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Graeber and daughter, Deidre "DeeDee" Graeber.
She was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School, Lexington, North Carolina and attended Lenoir-Rhyne University and the University of South Carolina.
Jimmie Blue is a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Gastonia, North Carolina. She and John were owners of Diabetic Supply of Graco, Inc., Gastonia. She was a former member of Cramer Mountain Country Club, where she and John were avid golfers. John and Jimmie Blue were quite a great golf team.
Jimmie Blue is survived by his loving daughter, Hanna Graeber; one loving son, John Ashley Graeber and wife Kelly; three grandchildren whom she adored, Samantha, Sydney and Cammie.
Services will be private and at a later date.
Jimmie Blue was preceded in death in addition to her parents; husband of 65 years, John Graeber; daughter, Deidre "DeeDee" Graeber; three sisters, Fannie Green, Gracie Sink, Louise Simpson .
