Dallas-James Ray 'Jim' Torrence, 81, of Dallas passed away June 15, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cabarrus County on December 26, 1929 to the late Thomas C and Eulila Hallman Torrence. Jim served in the US Navy for over 9 yrs., he was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kannapolis and worked as a barber for many years

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Betty M Wilson of Dallas,
1 son, 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren
