Jim Charles F Parrott

Gastonia- Charles Frederick 'Jim' Parrott, 86, passed away February 9, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.. He was a native of Gaston County, born June 16, 1924 to the late Fred and Beatrice Adair Parrott.
Jim was a member of Union Road Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son Dewey Keith Parrott and a sister Bobbie Parrott.
Survivors include his children Reggie Parrott and wife Patti of Gastonia; Terry Parrott and wife Lisa of Clover; and a daughter-in-law Doris Parrott of Charlotte;
Grandchildren: Josh and Brantley Parrott, Sierra N. Parrott, Morgan E. Parrott and Terry L. Parrott, II
One great grandson, Luke Paschal Parrott
The family will receive friends prior to the service
Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 12, at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Davidson officiating
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Union Presbyterian Church, 5615 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28056
