Jill Jenkins Hodge

Gastonia – Jill Jenkins Hodge, 68, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022 at her home.

Jill was born on October 23, 1954 in Gaston County to the late Lawrence and Hazel McCuen Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Jenkins, and her beloved fur baby of 21 years, Gracie.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, BeeBee, sister, and friend.  Jill was a family-first lady.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and making friends laugh. She also enjoyed shopping, especially with QVC.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, William Hodge; her children, Stephanie Smith and husband Jason, Jessica Willis and husband Jeremy, Davis Hodge and wife Megan Rowell; her wonderful and loving grandchildren, Ramsey Smith, Evie–James Carpenter, and Belle Rowell; her sister, Sherry Ludwick and husband Gary; as well as 3 nieces, 1 nephew, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31st from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel.
