Gastonia – Beverly Jill Jackson Francis, 74 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2021, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Gaston County on June 18, 1946, to the late Clyde and Earline Burnham Jackson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Roger Francis, her sisters Gwen Marshall, Kathy Ghorley, and Sharon Cearley, brother, David Roger Jackson, niece Lisa Owensby, nephew Matt Ghorley, brother-in-law Gary Rhyne.
Jill was a collector of Elvis and I Love Lucy memorabilia and beautiful antiques. She loved listening to and attending gospel music functions. Jill also was a wonderful seamstress. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving daughters Abby Richter (Chuck) and Tabatha Harrison (Bill); grandchildren, Katie Francis (Joseph Kennedy), Ashley Adams, Amber Adams, Stormy Rolen (Chloe Watson), Hammer Rolen, Benjamin Harrison, and Zoe Leveque; great-grandchildren Caiden, Azriel and Theo; her sisters, Kim Thomas (David), Robin Rhyne, Debbie Wyant (Leon), brother-in-law Jerry Cearley, niece, Emily Jessie, and nephews, Josh Jessie, Casey Rhyne, and Chad Ghorley. Her beloved fur-baby, Peanut.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 19th at Hollywood Cemetery. The family will speak to friends following the service.
