SFC Robert Jerry Pack, (US Army Rtd), 75 formerly of Belmont passed away on July 19, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Burlington, NC on January 7, 1942 to the late Vaughn C. Pack and Victoria Ogburn Pack. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Gerda Hartkorn Pack, his brother Vaughn "V.C." Pack, Jr., and a sister Arthelia Drake.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years and also served in the Civil Service for over 22 years.
Left to cherish his memories includes his son Robert H. Pack; and his sister Jewell LeGette; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22nd at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, North Carolina.
Inurnment will be in Fort Bliss, Texas with military honors beside his beloved wife.
