1935-2015
Lowell –Jean Biddix Thomasson, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 9, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Buncombe County, NC, on July 31, 1935 to the late Reverend Frank and Geneva Lewis Biddix.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and step mother Veldia Pressley;
her brothers Delmar and Hubert Pressley
Jean was an active member of Life Church and had worked as Secretary for over 44 years.
She was a graduate of Candler High School and Asheville-Baltimore College having received her BS degree.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 49 years, Larry Thomasson;
brothers Carroll Biddix of Fletcher, NC and Earl Biddix of Kingston, TN; sister Edith Dixon
Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at 4:00 pm. at the Life Church, 501 Cramer Mountain Road, Cramerton with Reverend Mike Cowart, Dr. Sammy Oxendine and Reverend Jeff Padgett officiating
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 pm prior to the service
Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Mausoleum B, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Tim Biddix, Randy Biddix, Tony Biddix, Don Peek, Don Peek and Jonathan Peek.
