Jasper Neal
Gastonia-Jasper Daniel Neal, 88, of 1009 Hamme Lane, went home to be with the Lord December 31, 2010 at Rehab & Health of Gastonia.
He was a native of Gaston County, born April 20, 1922
to the late John Wesley and Lillian Stewart Neal.
He was preceded in death his parents, his special friend of many years Ruby Bailey and her wife Wilma Carroll Neal
He retired from Arlington Mills and was a member of Garner Baptist Church. Jasper was a US Army veteran of WWII
Survivors include his step-children, Lois Nalley, Joyce Peace, Larry Moore, Lucy Irene Martin, Eddie Moore, Steve Moore, Juda Phillips and Dee Branch; 1 nephew, Ralph Neal, Jr
Numerous grandchildren
A Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Stewart officiating
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service
Interment will be follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Lowell
Pallbearers will be Doug Phillips, Steve Moore, DJ MacKenn, Bobby Martin, Brian Branch and Scott Branch
