Lowell - Jason Daniel Baker, 42, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 in Charlotte.
Jason was born in Gaston County and was a graduate of South Point High School in 1993. Jason was a veteran of the United States Army. He was Manager of City Electric Company, Denver. Jason was an avid softball player and knife collector.
Jason is survived by his Mother, Sherry Brittain Gregory and Husband Rick of Lowell, Father, Danny Ray Baker and Wife Anita of Gastonia; Uncle, Lanny Joe Brittain and Wife Casey of Greenville, North Carolina; Cousins, Erica Brittain, Patrick Brittain, Liz Ferrell, Kirk Brittain, Rene Hester, Jim Hester, Dana Ethridge, Stacy Taylor, Keith Brittain.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2nd at Core Church, 707 Westland Farm Road, Mt. Holly, NC with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2nd at Core Church with Pastor Tim McCarn officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with Military Honors by the Gaston Honor Guard and with "Releasing of the Doves" .
Pallbearers will be Chas Wheeler, Ronnie Payne, Brad Ham, Brian Neagle, Jason Beauregard, Frank Odell, Adam Rogers, David Fender.
Jason was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Andy and Ruby Brittain; maternal Grandparents, Charles and Geneva Baker; Uncle, Bo Brittain.
